In the world of professional speaking, there are speakers who consult and consultants who speak. The former often have such exceptional platform delivery skills that people expect them to be equally qualified at business consulting.

I have been consulting, training and coaching for over 20 years and my expertise comes to life on the platform. I explain how psychology effects physiology & vice verse, affording audiences the knowledge and functional tools needed to create and deal with change, while increasing effectiveness and reducing stress in their personal, inter-personal and business lives.

I take great pride in customizing my presentations to use appropriate industry jargon, address key issues, and focus on the organizations and events desired outcome.

Later in life I incurred a spinal injury as a result of weak core muscle strength. This happened even though I'd  been a fitness fanatic my entire adult life. In recovery I had to overcome my own fears of ever getting back to where I once was, and had to face the fact that decades of what I'd believed to be regular preventative activities, had led to and eventually caused my injury.

The realization that some of what we do in the name of protecting or advancing ourselves can prove to injure or hold us back, combined with months of rehabilitation, led me to the new science of Somatics (the study of Mind-Body-Spirit Alignment), and to my own creation of the 4 Corners of Influence: Attitude, Communication, Relationship & Leadership. Empowerment only happens when these four elements have been functionally developed and are supported appropriately.

The Four Corners of Influence

I was intrigued from an early age with the workings of the human psyche. This led me on an adventurous road of personal growth and development, exploring many different disciplines and philosophies. Later in life, I incurred a debilitating spinal injury during a water sport activity.

The intensive process of healing my injured body while keeping my mind motivated and my spirit from giving up revealed the workings of the human psyche on an extremely personal level. This insight combined with an already successful consulting practice, assisting hundreds of clients in their desire for improvement, solidified the foundational concepts of ultimate human effectiveness.

This experiential knowledge led me to postulate that Attitude, Communication, Relationships, & Leadership are the Four Corners of Influence. These cornerstones shape the condition of our health, the choices we make defining our lifestyle, the degree of creativity unleashed and affects our potential for personal and professional growth.
